Who is it for?
Professionals working in the community service industry, counsellors, teachers, mental health workers, chaplains, church workers, prison workers and other interested persons who have related work experience and an undergraduate qualification.

Qualified persons may deliver therapeutic group work to the community at community level for general wellbeing and emotional health
The following issues are reasons for the ever growing rate of depression in society, resolving these will decrease the depression found in society.
Why is this course important? RELATIONSHIPS
"Discomfort and anxiety occur with events that disrupt or threaten the relationship. Chronic disruption of the relationship system results in dysfunction and a high incidence of human problems, including physical and emotional illness and social dysfunction" (M. Bowen).
Mental Health
This course is greatly needed as a complimentary resource for the mental health sector. It has become increasingly difficult to cope with the increasing demands for service, it can be seen as an early intervention tool when mental and emotional imbalance is at an early stage of development, but also a tool for healing.
Promoting mental health and preventing mental illness has become a critical issue due to drug induced mental illness and psychotic experiences as a result of drug taking. Relationship breakdown in society is also the cause of much stress and confusion.
A lack of self awareness means wrong choices are made, this disrupts emotional balance and causes pain, this may lead to drug taking and binge drinking, (this relates especially to youth).
Emotional and Sexual abuse
Sexual abuse is rampant and the time has come to address is appropriately.
