A. My vision for community welfare is that those graduates who wish to promote emotional healing in the community may lease material with a memorandum og understanding(written agreement) and be monitored by myself.

Q. Does the qualification require specialised knowledge in some depth?
A.No,however persons need to be interested in people and their welfare, with a desire to make a difference. This training is experimental because it incorporates supervised counselling practice, therapeutic group work, teracher training, including curriculum writing and assessment in a counselling centre enviromment working with peers and clients.Self-analysis and awareness is foundational in all units.

It is also the first of its kind, as "Educational Counselling" is innovative and meets community needs precisely because it educates and counsels at the same time. This of course, relates only to the healing of emotional trauma and therapeutic work which may be undertaken in both counselling and group work, but this combination has proved itself to be highly successful.
